EMPLOYMENT & LABOR LAW

Lytle Soulé & Felty has a strong concentration in labor law and employment law in Oklahoma state and federal courts, as well as before administrative bodies throughout the State of Oklahoma.

The firm represents employers in race, age, and sex discrimination claims, as well as claims under the Family Medical Leave Act, Americans With Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act. We defend management in workers' compensation retaliatory discharge claims. This work includes defending against employee claims through the EEOC and in court cases, if necessary. We commonly represent employers in unemployment compensation claims before the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission and in wage claims before the Oklahoma Department of Labor.

Our attorneys represent employers in dealings with the National Labor Relations Board, including defending unfair labor practices charges under the National Labor Relations Act involving collective bargaining, strikes and lockouts, and unfair picketing situations. When necessary, we have sought and obtained injunctive relief against unions in strike and picketing situations. Our firm also provides expert guidance and client consultation in matters of collective bargaining, and has defended many employers in union grievance disputes.

Presently, attorneys of Lytle Soulé & Felty serve as outside general counsel to a variety of employers and employer groups on employment law and labor law matters.
